Office helpers needed…
We’re wrapping up our 2 year land use effects study, and we need to finish some data entry and other office tasks before mid-July. If you’d like to help, please check out the potential volunteer dates below.

Mussel workshop…
Learn more about these interesting and important bivalves at a workshop hosted by the Rivanna Master Naturalists:
- Saturday, July 18, 9am – noon, Ivy Creek Natural Area Education Building
- Presented by Brian Watson, Wildlife Diversity Biologist and Malacologist with the Department of Game and Inland Fisheries
- One hour of class time will be followed by a trip to a nearby stream to look for freshwater mussels.
- No RSVP required
