Virginia Citizens for Water Quality 2008 Summit…

When: August 9, 2008, 9:30 am – 4:00 pm
Where: University of Virginia, Charlottesville, Virginia
What: Time to meet with fellow volunteer water quality monitors to learn more and share successes
Cost: There is no fee for this event. Boxed lunches will be available at a cost of $9.00

Summer sampling…

The summer sampling season lasts until August 15th. We’ll be sampling only the mainstem (Rivanna River) sites this summer. If you do not have a mainstem site, you do not have to sample your site. But if you’d like to help out with another site, please check out the potential monitoring dates below!

Volunteer Monitor Newsletter…

The EPA will soon be releasing the Summer 2008 issue of “The Volunteer
Monitor” newsletter. (Because of funding delays and other circumstances, there has been no issue since Fall 2006). To read the newsletter online, or to sign up for the mailing list, visit the EPA’s Volunteer Monitor Website:
